Terms & Conditions

Orders

Orders can be made simply by following the checkout process on the online shop, or by texting us at 343-500-6305. Payment Instructions will follow.

Delivery

MediCann dispatcher will text you to confirm they have your order, and provide you with an estimated time of driver's arrival. If you'd like your order to be delivered somewhere specific (ex: mailbox, backdoor), kindly let us know and we're happy to accommodate.

Orders are delivered within 1-2 hours under normal conditions

You will be notified of any delays due to uncontrollable circumstances, such as weather conditions, traffic issues or a rush of orders and given a new delivery time. Your patience is appreciated as we strive to get your order to you as soon as possible. (generally within the hour)

We will usually contact you again by text 5-10min prior to drivers arrival.

Delivery Range

Our range for local delivery extends 25km radius from downtown Ottawa. And 15km for Gatineau

(using 36 Nelson st as reference)

Minimum order & Delivery fees

Ottawa/Gatineau Delivery fee is $5 & $7 respectively.  

FREE DELIVERY OTTAWA OVER 75.00,  GATINEAU OVER 100.00

  • Minimum order amount of 50.00 required for delivery (Gatineau delivery min order: 75.00)

  • No minimum required for pick-up orders

  • Outlying areas and urban communities may require a minimum order of 200.00, fee adjustment based on travel distance from Ottawa Centre

“When our Track tool indicates that a letter or parcel was successfully delivered, it means the item arrived as addressed. Some addresses do not have deliveries directly to your door; you may need to check a second location like a mailroom, front desk, or safe drop location. Also, check with everyone in the household as another member of the house may have received or retrieved the item.

If a signature is shown on Track, see if it matches anyone in the household who may have signed for the item, as we deliver to the address and not to the name on the item.”

Payments

Payment Methods: Cash-on-delivery or E-Transfer are the modes of payment that MediCann accepts.

First Time Customers must send valid photo ID prior to delivery. If you are unable to provide ID we cannot serve you.

The guidelines for the payment will be given upon checking out. You may sign up for free in the top right corner of our website if you prefer a "cash on delivery" payment.

At the minute that you are done placing your order, We will send you an invoice together with the other instructions —   confirm your address & contact details  to finish the payment procedure.

Please make sure that you secure a copy of the information to avoid inconvenience. However, if you fail to give the complete data required, please contact us, and don’t forget to mention your Order #.  MediCann will happily answer your concern.

After E-Transfer Payment

When you are finished sending your payments through E-Transfer, expect that MediCann will immediately contact you to confirm receipt of payment & process your order/s.

 

User Data

MediCann does not sell or distribute any user/member data. All photo ID's sent for verification are for our safety and liability purposes only.

Other site members do not have access to your site profile or personal information in any way. Any attempt to use another person's ID (for verification or payment) shall be blacklisted immediately.

As a site member:

  • Your user credentials should always be kept confidential.

  • You are responsible for keeping their usernames and passwords safe from others.

  • You need to contact MediCann immediately if their credentials get stolen, or you believe someone has gained unauthorized access to your accounts.

Modifying or Cancelling of Orders/ Return policy

MediCann regrets that we cannot change or cancel an order once a purchase is made. If the act is necessary, then you are required to contact us so that we can do the modification and cancellation in your place. In the event that you want to change your orders, please communicate and instruct us on which product to change. Afterward, wait for our instructions for the payment or refund of the modified order.  If you place an order (unpaid) ,  and don't show up to meet the driver there is a 7$ charge. 

Returns:

No returns or exchanges after orders have been delivered.  However if you are not satisfied we'd encourage you to contact us and we'll do our best to make it right.

Security of Orders (shipping)

The products you order will be handled, sealed and packaged discreetly. to protect the contents and your privacy.  We will be in touch to ensure your order arrives safely. For mail orders, we ship via Canada Post Xpresspost , or UPS tracking info will be provided the day of your order.

Orders beyond Canada’s Jurisdiction

As of this time, MediCann only ships within  Canada. Any orders that are addressed outside of the Country will not push through. However, you are welcome to contact MediCann periodically for updates on potential changes in this regard.

Taxes

Taxes are being charged on some packaged items, which are already incorporated in the prices.

Limitations and liability

MediCann is in no way responsible for any potential damagesIn no event shall MediCann be liable for any special, consequential, incidental or indirect damages whatsoever (including, without limitation, damages for loss of business profits, business interruption, loss of business information, or any other pecuniary loss) arising out of the use of or inability to use this product or website, even if the MediCann is aware of the possibility of such damages and known defects.
